Job Title: Part-Time Preservation Architect


A prestigious preservation architecture firm in Fonvieille is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team on a part-time basis. As the ideal candidate, you will have a deep understanding of historical preservation principles, superior design skills, and excellent project management abilities. You will work closely with our clients to develop creative solutions for the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and structures.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough site assessments and documentation of historic buildings
- Develop detailed preservation plans and specifications
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the preservation process
- Manage project budgets and schedules
- Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with preservation standards
- Conduct research on historical building materials and techniques
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior staff members

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in historic preservation projects
- Strong knowledge of local and national historic preservation regulations and standards
- Excellent design skills with proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with strict deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members
- Ability to conduct fieldwork including site visits, surveys, and documentation
