Executive Chef - Fonvieille, Monaco
We are searching for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in the beautiful city of Fonvieille, Monaco. Our ideal candidate must have a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes, as well as strong leadership skills to manage and train our kitchen staff. The Executive Chef will be responsible for menu planning and execution, inventory management, and ensuring high quality standards are met in all food preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative menus that align with the hotel's culinary vision and cater to guests' preferences
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies to maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper techniques and procedures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or themed dinners
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or restaurant environment
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to work well with other departments and handle guest requests
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards under pressure
- Preferred nationality: French or European
