Commercial Architect
A reputable architectural firm in Svalbard is seeking a talented and driven Commercial Architect to join our team. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings such as office spaces, retail stores, and restaurants. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, as well as collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to assess potential project locations
- Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval
- Create detailed construction plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure structural integrity of designs
- Oversee the construction process and address any issues that may arise
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule
- Stay updated on industry developments and trends in commercial architecture
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Proven experience in commercial architecture, preferably with a reputable firm
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality designs within tight deadlines
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this full-time position. Visa sponsorship is also available for non-native candidates.
