Junior Preservation Architect
The Junior Preservation Architect will assist the senior team in the preservation and restoration of historic buildings and landmarks in Monte-Carlo. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience in preservation architecture who is looking to grow their skills and knowledge in this field. As a Junior Preservation Architect, you will work closely with the senior team to conduct research, develop preservation plans, create architectural drawings, and oversee construction projects. Your main responsibilities will include conducting site visits, documenting existing conditions, and assisting with the preparation of proposals and reports for clients. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other professionals such as engineers, historians, and conservators.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Historic Preservation
- Knowledge of architectural history and styles
- Familiarity with preservation techniques and materials
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Experience:
No previous experience is required for this position but some knowledge or coursework in historic preservation is preferred.
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
