Job Title: Blast Furnace Operator


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Blast Furnace Operator to join our team in Pula. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the blast furnace equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient production of iron and steel.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor blast furnace equipment, including charging, tapping, and relining processes
- Monitor temperature, gas flow, and other factors to ensure efficient production
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to maintain a safe work environment
- Keep accurate records of production data and report any abnormalities or concerns to management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Blast Furnace Operator in an iron or steel production facility
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of industrial equipment operation
- Ability to work in a team environment and handle physically demanding tasks
- Must have valid work visa for Pula (own visa preferred)
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
