Data Analytics Specialist (Kaunas, Lithuania)


A reputable data-analytics company based in Kaunas, Lithuania is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analytics Specialist to join our team. As the Data Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets and providing valuable insights to drive business decisions. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving data collection and analysis processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. This is a remote position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets using statistical methods and tools
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve business performance
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify key metrics and develop reports and visualizations
- Utilize data mining techniques to identify patterns and trends in data
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and security
- Identify areas for improvement in data collection processes and provide recommendations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or R programming languages
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques (e.g. regression analysis, hypothesis testing)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Data Science or related field
- Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
