Hotel Sales Manager - Malindi, Kenya


Our hotel in Malindi is looking for a dynamic and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our hotel's services to potential clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This position is open to Indian nationals who are looking for a contract job in Kenya.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates
- Identify and target potential clients through various channels such as online platforms, trade shows, and networking events
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
- Build rapport with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, and other partners
- Monitor sales performance against set targets and provide regular reports to management
- Train and supervise the sales team to ensure high-quality service delivery

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is an added advantage
