JAVA Developer

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based applications. You will work closely with other developers to understand project requirements and design scalable solutions. Your duties will include writing code, debugging software, conducting system tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and experience working with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate. You should also have a good understanding of software development best practices and experience working in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing software solutions using Java
- Writing efficient, maintainable, and reusable code
- Debugging code to identify and fix issues
- Conducting unit testing and system testing to ensure quality
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements
- Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Maintaining technical documentation for future reference
- Staying updated with emerging technologies in the industry

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a Java Developer
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
- Experience working with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello
- Good understanding of software development best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies

Salary: $1400 per month

Location: Porto, Portugal
