Preservation Architect (Part-Time) - Porto, Portugal


We are seeking a passionate and skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Porto on a part-time basis. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while adhering to local regulations and guidelines. Your role will involve conducting thorough assessments, creating preservation plans, and overseeing the implementation of restoration projects.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine their condition and any necessary preservation measures
- Collaborating with clients, engineers, and contractors to develop preservation plans that meet their needs while also adhering to local regulations and guidelines
- Overseeing the implementation of preservation projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and on schedule
- Utilizing your knowledge of traditional building materials and techniques to ensure authenticity in restoration work
- Staying updated on current preservation practices, regulations, and technologies
- Maintaining accurate records of all projects and documentation related to the preservation process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in preservation architecture or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of traditional building materials and techniques
- Familiarity with local regulations and guidelines for historic preservation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, engineers, contractors, etc.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting

This position offers a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for part-time work. We also provide free visa sponsorship and ticket assistance for non-local candidates.
