Community Moderator


As a Community Moderator, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive and engaging online community in Almada. You will monitor and moderate user-generated content, ensuring that it adheres to our community guidelines. Additionally, you will interact with community members, address their concerns and provide assistance when needed. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism. The ideal candidate should have experience in community management and a deep understanding of social media platforms. A passion for creating a welcoming and inclusive online environment is also essential.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor user-generated content on various online platforms in Almada.
- Enforce community guidelines by removing inappropriate or offensive content.
- Interact with community members, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Identify potential issues or conflicts within the community and proactively address them.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for the community.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in community management.
- Assist with organizing and hosting events for the community.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Community Moderator or similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus).
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
- Strong understanding of online communities and their dynamics.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations diplomatically.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Salary: 1100$ per month

Location: Almada (remote work may be possible)

Working hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
