Part-Time Concierge in Alta, Norway


We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Part-Time Concierge to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by assisting with their needs and ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide warm welcome
- Assist with check-ins and check-outs
- Provide recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and events
- Make reservations for guests at restaurants or other activities
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby area
- Monitor guest requests through the hotel's computer system
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Assist with luggage storage, transportation arrangements, and other guest requests as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a concierge or in a customer service role
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and events in Alta is preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary: 1100$ per month (part-time)
Accommodation: Provided by the hotel (shared housing)
Visa Sponsorship: Available for non-Norwegian candidates who meet the necessary requirements.
