Plasterboard Worker

We are currently seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in La-Condamine. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard walls and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific spaces
- Install plasterboard on walls and ceilings using appropriate tools and techniques
- Fill gaps, cracks, and holes in plasterboard with joint compound
- Sand down surfaces to create a smooth finish
- Apply texture or decorative finishes to plasterboard
- Repair or replace damaged or faulty plasterboard
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- Strong knowledge of different types of plasterboards and their uses
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and lift heavy materials for extended periods of time
- Own basic tools for the job (e.g. tape measure, utility knife)
- Valid work permit for La-Condamine (if not a citizen)

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
