Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting sensitive data and ensuring the security of information systems. This includes conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, monitoring network activity, and responding to security incidents. You will work closely with other IT professionals to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

To excel in this role, you should have experience in information security and a strong understanding of network protocols and operating systems. Knowledge of industry best practices and compliance regulations is also essential. The ability to analyze complex problems and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders is crucial.

This is a full-time position located in Greenland. We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month along with accommodation. Preference will be given to female candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential vulnerabilities in systems and networks
- Conduct risk assessments to determine the level of risk associated with identified threats
- Implement security measures such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Monitor network activity for suspicious behavior or unauthorized access
- Investigate security breaches and take appropriate actions to mitigate damages
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and compliance regulations
- Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure overall system security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in information security
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and operating systems
- Familiarity with industry best practices and compliance regulations
- Analytical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills
