Hotel Sales Manager
As a Hotel Sales Manager in the bustling city of Herning, you will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets for the hotel. Your main focus will be on driving revenue through the acquisition of new business and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This is a full-time position that requires previous experience in hotel sales and a proven track record of success.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to attract new business and retain existing clients
- Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and stay informed about market trends
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, and other industry partners
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive bookings
- Monitor competitors' rates and offerings to ensure the hotel remains competitive in the market
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients
- Analyze sales data and provide regular reports to management on performance against targets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel sales or related industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work irregular hours as needed
