Librarian - Biometric Services
Location: Porto, Portugal


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian with experience in biometric services to join our team in Porto. This role will be responsible for managing the library's biometric services, including fingerprinting and scanning of biometric passports.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the library's biometric services, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and supplies are stocked.
- Provide assistance to patrons using the biometric services, including guiding them through the process and answering any questions.
- Perform fingerprinting and scanning of biometric passports accurately and efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of all biometric transactions and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Stay updated on any changes in biometric technology or procedures and incorporate them into the library's services.
- Train and supervise other staff members who may assist with biometric services.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Librarian, preferably with experience in managing biometric services.
- Knowledge of current biometric technology and procedures, specifically related to passport scanning and fingerprinting.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well with diverse groups of people.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this full-time position.
