Data Analyst - Svalbard Contract



As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting large sets of data to provide valuable insights and inform business decisions. Your role will be crucial in helping our company make data-driven decisions and improve our overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Analyze and interpret data using statistical techniques
- Create reports, visualizations and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders
- Identify trends, patterns and anomalies in the data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions
- Continuously monitor data quality and accuracy
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and interpret large datasets
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, Python or other programming languages used for data analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques (e.g. regression analysis, hypothesis testing)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Valid work permit for Svalbard

Salary: 1200$ (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Svalbard (accommodation provided)
Employment Type: Contract (with possibility of extension)
