Job Title: Information Security Analyst - Part Time (Svalbard)


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team on a part-time basis in Svalbard. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's sensitive data and information from potential threats and breaches. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in the field of information security and is looking for a part-time opportunity.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks.
- Monitor network activity, investigate any suspicious behavior, and implement necessary security measures.
- Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Stay updated with the latest security technologies, trends, and best practices to ensure the highest level of protection.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify, report, and resolve any security incidents or breaches.
- Train employees on information security policies and procedures to promote a culture of security awareness.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of information security frameworks such as ISO 27001.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and vulnerability assessment tools.
- In-depth understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this part-time position.

Location:
This position is located in Svalbard. However, we welcome candidates from all nationalities who are eligible to work in Svalbard without accommodation.
