We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machines used for shaping metal parts. Your main duty will be to read blueprints and use precision instruments to measure and cut materials according to specifications. You must have a good understanding of different tools and techniques used in turning, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements
- Use precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers to measure materials
- Operate lathes, milling machines, and grinders to shape metal pieces
- Ensure all machinery is running smoothly and make necessary adjustments when needed
- Monitor production process to maintain quality standards
- Inspect finished pieces for accuracy and make any necessary corrections
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Follow safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision instruments
- Knowledge of different types of turning tools and techniques
- Good mathematical skills for accurate measurements
- Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
- Physical stamina for standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy materials if needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
