Typesetter Specialist (Almada, Portugal)


We are currently hiring for a talented Typesetter Specialist to join our team in Almada, Portugal. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in typesetting and be able to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize software and equipment to set type for various print and digital materials, including books, magazines, brochures, and websites
- Work closely with designers, editors, and other team members to ensure the final product meets quality standards
- Make necessary adjustments to spacing, font sizes, and layout to ensure readability and consistency
- Proofread material for spelling and grammatical errors
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the typesetting process
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign or other typesetting software
- Excellent attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of printing processes is a plus

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month. Accommodation can also be provided for candidates who require it.

Location:
This position is based in Almada, Portugal. However, we are open to candidates from different nationalities.
