Experienced Tiler for Contract Work in Svalbard

As an experienced Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tile surfaces in both residential and commercial settings. This includes tasks such as measuring and cutting tiles, preparing surfaces, applying grout and sealant, and ensuring the finished product is level and visually appealing.

This is a contract position based in Svalbard, a remote archipelago located between Norway and the North Pole. While accommodation will not be provided, we offer competitive compensation of 1100$ per week. As this is a contract position, you must have your own valid biometric passport for travel to Svalbard.

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience as a Tiler and possess a strong attention to detail. You should also have excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues. The ability to work independently is essential as you may be required to complete projects alone.

As our ideal candidate, you should also have experience working with various types of tile materials such as ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, and mosaic. Familiarity with different techniques such as laying patterns and grouting methods is also preferred.
