Senior Developer (Bergen, Norway)



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems and applications. You should have a strong understanding of various programming languages and frameworks and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members. This position requires a critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be willing to relocate to Bergen, Norway with accommodation provided. Visa sponsorship is also available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems and applications
- Writing clean, efficient, and high-quality code
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met
- Troubleshooting issues reported by users or other team members
- Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology
- Mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance when needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a software developer or engineer
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Ruby
- Experience working with front-end web development technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
- Familiarity with database design and management (SQL or NoSQL)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
