Data Mining Analyst
As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify patterns and trends. You will work closely with our team of data scientists to develop algorithms and models that will help drive business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large datasets from various sources
- Use statistical methods to clean, filter, and validate data
- Analyze data using advanced techniques such as clustering, regression, and classification
- Identify patterns and trends in the data to support decision making
- Develop algorithms and models to predict future outcomes
- Communicate results to stakeholders through visualizations or presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in data mining or related field
- Proficiency in SQL, R or Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, etc.
- Experience working with large datasets using tools like Hadoop or Spark is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently on projects
Location: This position is based in Copenhagen but remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.
Salary: The starting salary for this position is $1700 per month. Salary may vary depending on experience and qualifications.
