A leading technology company in Faro is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex business problems. Your role will involve working closely with data scientists and software engineers to design, develop, and deploy machine learning solutions that will drive business growth.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms for various applications such as natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive analytics
- Collaborate with data scientists to identify business problems that can be solved using machine learning techniques
- Conduct research on new machine learning methods and technologies to improve existing models
- Work closely with software engineers to integrate machine learning solutions into production systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning solutions in a commercial setting
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability theory, and data mining techniques
- Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
