Contract Game Developer in Faro, Portugal


We are seeking a talented and experienced Game Developer to join our team in Faro, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing high quality games for various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for gaming, excellent programming skills and a creative mindset. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$ per month. Accommodation and visa sponsorship will be provided for non-EU candidates. This is an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain experience in the gaming industry. Prior experience is required.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop games for various platforms such as mobile, PC and console
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality games
- Write clean, efficient and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues
- Stay updated with latest gaming trends, technologies and techniques
- Develop prototypes to test new game ideas

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in game development
- Proficient in programming languages such as C++, C# or Java
- Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal
- Strong understanding of game design principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Passion for gaming and keeping up-to-date with industry trends

Location: Faro, Portugal (on-site)

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Contract: 6 months (with possibility of extension)

Accommodation: Provided if needed
