Junior Truck Driver

As a Junior Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations in a safe and timely manner. Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Follow traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
- Inspect trucks before and after trips, reporting any mechanical issues or damages
- Maintain accurate logbooks of driving activities, including hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers using two-way radios or cell phones
- Ensure cargo is properly secured for transport
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
