Mason (Suitable for Men) - Svalbard


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team in Svalbard. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in masonry work, preferably in a cold climate. This position is suitable for men due to the physically demanding nature of the job.

As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures using materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, and natural stones. You must have a strong attention to detail and be able to interpret blueprints and construction plans accurately. Additionally, you must have experience with various masonry techniques, such as laying bricks and cutting stones.

This role requires physical strength and stamina as you will be lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time. You must also be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and has good communication skills. You must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
