Junior Librarian

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Librarian to join our dynamic team at our library in La-Condamine. This role is perfect for freshers who are passionate about books and have a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of librarianship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing library operations such as circulation, cataloging, and reference services.
- Help maintain the library's collection by organizing and shelving books, periodicals, and other materials.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with finding resources and answering inquiries.
- Support the development of library programs and events for different age groups.
- Collaborate with senior librarians to create engaging displays and exhibits.
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in literature, technology, and library services.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organization skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Passion for books and promoting literacy.
- Knowledge of library systems and databases is an asset.

Compensation:
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1000$ per month. We also offer health insurance benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Location:
The position is located at our library in La-Condamine. Candidates must already have valid working visas for Monaco or be willing to obtain one.
