As our Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of desserts, such as cakes, pastries, and breads. Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of different baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail and artistic ability
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Danish or EU citizenship/residency preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of desserts according to recipes and standards set by the restaurant
- Decorate pastries using creative techniques to ensure an aesthetically pleasing presentation
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new dessert items that complement our menu offerings
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work station
- Train and supervise other pastry staff members when necessary
