Contract Driver in Faroe-Islands

We are a transportation company seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Driver to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Contract Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating company vehicles to transport goods and passengers to their desired destinations. You must have your own visa and be able to work on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles in a safe and lawful manner
- Transport goods and passengers to designated locations within scheduled timeframes
- Plan routes and navigate through traffic using GPS or maps
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance, such as refueling, checking oil levels, and reporting any mechanical issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding pick-up and drop-off times or any delays

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license for commercial vehicles
- Proven experience as a professional driver
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and road signs
- Ability to operate various types of vehicles (e.g. trucks, vans)
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients
- Basic math skills for recording mileage and fuel usage

Salary: $1700 per month

Location: Faroe Islands (preference given to local or EU/EEA citizens)
