Senior Accountant

We are a leading accounting firm in Almada seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations
- Advise on financial management practices and strategies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an accountant or in a related field
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Biometric passport is required
- Must have excellent communication skills

Salary: $1600 per month
