Senior Architect - Funchal, Portugal


The Senior Architect will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of various architectural projects in Funchal, Portugal. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in architecture and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process for various architectural projects from concept to completion
- Ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule
- Develop detailed plans, drawings, and specifications for each project
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and designers
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in architecture

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction methods
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar software
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be fluent in English (Portuguese language skills preferred)

Compensation:
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of 1300$ per month. The successful candidate will also receive accommodation provided by the company.
