Interpreter for International Business Meetings

Our company is looking for a skilled and experienced Interpreter to join our team in Fonvieille. This position is suitable for men who have a passion for language and cross-cultural communication. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating effective communication between our international clients during business meetings. Your primary role will be to accurately interpret and translate verbal conversations from one language to another, ensuring that all parties understand each other's intentions and messages clearly.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a bridge between clients of different nationalities, facilitating smooth communication
- Listen carefully to the speaker's message and accurately translate it into the target language
- Convey the tone, emotion, and intention of the speaker in your translations
- Assist with document translation as needed
- Conduct research on relevant cultural norms and customs to ensure accurate translation and understanding
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages (including English)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator, preferably in a business setting
- Knowledge of business terminology in both languages
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing environments
- Attention to detail and strong listening skills
- Familiarity with cultural differences and ability to navigate potential misunderstandings

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Interpretation or related field preferred but not required
- Certification as an interpreter or translator would be an advantage
