Data Analytics Specialist (Funchal, Portugal)


We are a dynamic and fast-growing data analytics company based in Funchal, Portugal. We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team. As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and trends, creating data visualizations, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics, data analysis tools and techniques, and be able to effectively communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets using statistical methods and machine learning techniques
- Develop data models and algorithms to extract insights from raw data
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and provide data-driven solutions
- Communicate findings clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist
- Strong knowledge of statistics and data analysis tools such as R or Python
- Experience with SQL databases and query languages
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques for predictive modeling is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams
