We are seeking a skilled Tiler to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tiles on walls, floors, and other surfaces. You must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. This is a contract job with accommodation and visa sponsorship provided. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as a tiler and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Cut tiles to fit around obstacles and create patterns
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning and leveling them
- Mix and apply adhesives for tiles
- Set tiles in place and ensure they are level
- Fill gaps between tiles with grout
- Install tile trim around edges for a finished look
- Repair or replace damaged or broken tiles
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences

Requirements:
- Minimum of two years experience as a tiler
- Proficiency in using tools such as tile cutters, levels, trowels, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of different types of tiles and their properties
- Effective time management skills
- Strong communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
