Interpreter - Faroe Islands


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interpreter to join our team in the beautiful country of Faroe Islands. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services for clients in various settings, including meetings, conferences, and other events.

Responsibilities:
- Provide clear and accurate interpretation between English and the target language (preferably Faroese) in a variety of settings.
- Act as a cultural liaison between parties to ensure effective communication.
- Participate in pre-meeting preparations, including research and familiarization with relevant terminology.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
- Continuously build upon language proficiency and knowledge of subject matter.

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and the target language (preferably Faroese).
- Proven experience as an Interpreter or similar role.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret accurately, quickly, and effectively.
- Strong knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivity towards them.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.

Salary: 1000$ per month.

This is a full-time position without accommodation. However, we are happy to assist with finding suitable housing options upon request. In addition, we provide a free visa and ticket for international candidates.
