Interpreter for International Events

We are hiring an Interpreter to join our team for international events in Faroe-Islands. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services between English and other languages for various events and conferences. You should have excellent language skills, a strong understanding of cultural differences, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide simultaneous interpretation during events and conferences
- Translate written materials as needed
- Conduct research on relevant topics to ensure accurate interpretation
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Collaborate with other interpreters and event staff to ensure smooth communication flow
- Assist with administrative tasks related to interpretation services

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (preferably Mandarin, Spanish, or French)
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to different speaking styles
- Strong knowledge of cultural nuances and ability to navigate sensitive topics
- Proven experience as an interpreter is preferred but not required
- Willingness to travel and work on weekends as needed

Salary: $1200 per month
