Junior Web Designer


We are a growing web design company based in Kolding, Denmark, and we are looking for a creative and passionate Junior Web Designer to join our team. This is an entry-level position suitable for individuals without prior experience, who are eager to learn and develop their skills in the field of web design.

As a Junior Web Designer, you will work closely with our senior designers and project managers to create visually stunning and user-friendly websites for our clients. You will be involved in every stage of the design process, from conceptualization to implementation, and will have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and creativity.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior designers to create website layouts, wireframes, and prototypes
- Design graphics, icons, and other visual elements for websites
- Edit and optimize images for web use
- Ensure consistency in design across multiple devices and browsers
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and offer new ideas for website designs

Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in web design or a related field (preferred)
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or other design software
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS coding (preferred)
- Knowledge of responsive design principles (preferred)
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn new skills and keep up-to-date with industry developments

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is based at our office in Kolding. Please note that accommodation is not provided so candidates must have their own visa or work permit.
