Head Chef


We are in need of a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at our restaurant in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is consistently served to our patrons.

Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and vision
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high quality standards
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and delegating tasks
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends, new ingredients, and techniques to continuously improve menu offerings
- Manage food costing and work within budget constraints
- Handle any guest complaints or issues regarding food quality or service

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or certification preferred
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure food quality is maintained at all times
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this full-time position.
