Crane Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Almada. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift and move heavy materials on construction sites or in industrial settings. Your main duties will include inspecting and maintaining the crane, operating it safely and efficiently, and communicating with other workers on the ground.

To be successful in this role, you should have a valid crane operator's license, extensive experience operating different types of cranes, and strong knowledge of safety regulations. You should also have excellent hand-eye coordination, physical strength and stamina to operate the crane for long periods of time, and good communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect cranes before use to ensure they are in good working condition
- Operate different types of cranes such as tower cranes, mobile cranes, or overhead cranes
- Move heavy materials using the crane as per instructions from supervisors
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times while operating the crane
- Communicate with ground workers using hand signals or radio to coordinate movements
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane to keep it in good working condition
- Report any malfunctions or issues with the crane immediately to supervisors
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures while on the job site

Requirements:
- Valid crane operator's license
- Proven experience operating different types of cranes
- Extensive knowledge of safety regulations related to crane operations
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical strength
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
