Part Time Truck Driver in Alta


We are seeking a reliable and experienced Part Time Truck Driver in Alta to join our team. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from one location to another. This position requires experience driving commercial trucks and a valid CDL license.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial truck, following all traffic laws and regulations
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure proper safety and maintenance
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents to the appropriate personnel
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, etc.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws/regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills and customer service-oriented attitude
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Flexible schedule, able to work evenings or weekends as needed

Salary:
The salary for this part time position is $900 per week.

Location:
This job is located in Alta, a small city in northern Norway known for its beautiful landscapes and outdoor activities. While being fluent in Norwegian is preferred, it is not required for this position.

Note: This is a part time job without accommodation provided. The candidate must have their own means of transportation to the workplace.
