We are hiring a skilled and reliable Painter Technician to join our team in Svalbard. As a Painter Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and painting surfaces in various buildings and structures. This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$ per month, with visa sponsorship available for all nationalities. This job does not require previous experience, but we are looking for candidates who have a strong attention to detail and can work independently. Accommodation will not be provided, so the ideal candidate should already have housing arrangements in place.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and cleaning them before applying paint
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Apply coats of paint using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Use specialized techniques such as stenciling or faux finishes
- Repair any imperfections on surfaces before painting
- Follow safety guidelines when handling paint chemicals and equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a painter or similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with painting tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time
