Data Analytics Specialist


We are a growing data analytics company based in Alta, seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and a passion for uncovering insights from complex data sets. As a specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing large amounts of data, identifying trends and patterns, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions. This role also involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions. Accommodation and visa sponsorship will be provided for non-local candidates. Compensation for this position starts at $1300 per month.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a business setting
- Proficiency in SQL and statistical analysis tools (e.g. R, SAS)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analytically
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present complex data insights
- Experience with visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate results within tight deadlines

Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources
- Perform statistical analyses (e.g. regression, clustering) on large datasets to identify trends and patterns
- Create visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present complex data insights in an easy-to-understand format
- Develop predictive models using techniques such as machine learning or time series analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that address business needs
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through presentations or reports
- Continuously monitor data integrity and accuracy while troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the analysis process
- Keep up-to-date with new developments and techniques in the field of data analytics and suggest improvements to existing processes
