Contract Construction Manager (Svalbard)



A reputable construction company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Construction Manager to join our team in Svalbard, Norway. As the Contract Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects from planning to completion. We are looking for someone who can effectively manage resources, schedules, and budgets while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
- Manage and supervise construction teams, including subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor progress of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Review and approve project designs, materials, and equipment
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any concerns or issues
- Prepare regular reports on project status for management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Construction Manager in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proven track record of successfully completing construction projects on time and within budget
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and team members
- Proficient in project management software
- Valid biometric passport
