Part-Time Crane Operator



As a part-time crane operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining cranes in a safe and efficient manner. This role is perfect for individuals looking for flexible working hours in the city of Svalbard. No prior experience is necessary as we will provide on-the-job training. Your responsibilities will include:

- Operating cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment
- Performing pre-operational checks on cranes to ensure safety
- Maintaining the crane's cleanliness and reporting any malfunctions or defects
- Following all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth workflow
- Keeping records of daily activities such as materials lifted, weather conditions, and equipment usage

Requirements:

- Must be physically fit and able to work at heights
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Basic understanding of crane operations is an advantage but not mandatory
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts including weekends if required

Salary: $1500 per month (part-time)
