Computer Support Specialist

Our company, located in Herning, is seeking a proficient and detail-oriented Computer Support Specialist to join our team. As a Computer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients and employees. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and network issues for clients and employees
- Install and configure new hardware and software systems
- Perform routine maintenance on computer equipment
- Assist with setting up new user accounts and permissions
- Train employees on how to use various computer programs and systems
- Keep track of inventory of computer equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
- Proven experience in technical support or IT help desk role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- Experience with remote desktop support tools such as TeamViewer or LogMeIn

Our company provides a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this position. This is a full-time role with regular business hours. While experience is preferred, we are open to considering candidates without prior experience who have the necessary qualifications.
