Biometric Tester


As a Biometric Tester, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating biometric systems and devices in order to ensure their accuracy, reliability, and functionality. You will work closely with software engineers and developers to identify and troubleshoot any issues or bugs in the system, as well as provide feedback for improvements. Your role will also involve conducting various tests and experiments to validate the performance of biometric technologies, such as facial recognition, fingerprint scanning, and voice recognition.

Responsibilities:
- Test biometric systems and devices for accuracy, reliability, and functionality
- Collaborate with software engineers and developers to troubleshoot issues and provide feedback for improvements
- Design test scenarios based on project requirements
- Execute test cases and report any bugs or defects found
- Conduct experiments to validate the performance of biometric technologies
- Analyze test results and prepare reports for stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements in biometrics technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience working as a Tester or Quality Assurance Engineer
- Familiarity with biometrics technology and its applications
- Experience with testing tools such as JIRA or Selenium
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java or Python
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Bergen, Norway. However, remote work may be considered for qualified candidates.

Preference:
Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with biometric passport systems.
