Excavator Operator


We are hiring a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Porto. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery, such as excavators, to perform various tasks on construction sites. Your main duties will include digging trenches, loading and unloading materials, and leveling terrain.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery, including excavators and other construction equipment
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Complete daily inspections of equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure proper functioning
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine job requirements
- Dig trenches, load and unload materials, and level terrain as needed for construction projects
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- At least 2 years of experience operating heavy machinery, specifically excavators
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in construction or related field preferred
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures for heavy machinery
- Fluent in Portuguese or English

Salary: $1500 per month
