IT Support Specialist
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our company's computer systems, hardware, and software. They will serve as the first point of contact for any IT-related issues and must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to user inquiries via email, phone, or in person
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
- Installing and configuring computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices
- Maintaining accurate records of all support activities in our ticketing system
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure timely resolution of complex issues
- Providing end-user training on new systems or software updates
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software (e.g. Zendesk)
- Advanced troubleshooting skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP protocols, switches/routers)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred
Our company offers a competitive salary package of 1300$ per month for this full-time position. The selected candidate will be based in our office located in Lisbon. However, we are open to considering remote candidates from Portugal.
