We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Typesetter to join our publishing team in Lisbon. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images to create visually appealing and readable documents, such as books, magazines, and newspapers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize typesetting software (such as Adobe InDesign) to format text and images according to design specifications
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in font styles, sizes, spacing, and alignment throughout the document
- Collaborate with editors, writers, and designers to ensure the final product meets quality standards
- Make necessary adjustments to layouts based on feedback from team members or clients
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign
- Excellent understanding of typography principles and design elements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in text or layout
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- A portfolio showcasing previous typesetting work is preferred

Salary: 1400$ per month with accommodation provided.

Location: This position is based in Lisbon, Portugal.
