Pastry Chef
As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious and visually appealing pastries, desserts, and other baked goods for our establishment in Monte-Carlo. We are seeking a highly skilled and creative individual who has a passion for pastry making and the ability to continuously innovate and develop new recipes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new pastry recipes that meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality
- Prepare all pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies needed for pastry production
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs in proper techniques and methods
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, flavor combinations, ingredient functions, and food safety regulations
- Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate others
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from an accredited institution
- Previous experience working in fine dining restaurants or luxury hotel establishments
Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Monte-Carlo (relocation assistance available if needed)
